Law School Graduation. I always knew this day would come but sometimes it seemed so
far off that it might as well have been impossible. And really, working 50+ hours a week as a federal law
enforcement agent and attending law school part time AND still having time to
be a husband and father…..well, that IS close to impossible. But anyone who knows Josh will say “If
anyone can do it, Josh can”. And
he did. I could not be happier. I feel like a whole new chapter of our
lives is starting (hopefully a move too!). For the past decade, whenever anyone asks him “aren’t you
proud of (fill in the blank)”, he would always say “I’ll be proud when… (I
finish the LSAT, get a job, get promoted, get into law school, survive the
first year of law school…graduate law school)” He has finally achieved it all and I am happy to say that he
is finally feeling that pride that we have all had for him all along.
The ceremony was wonderful- Leah was a rambunctious 3 year
old but that’s fine. Nothing could
ruin that day. At the reception
after the ceremony, when Leah saw Josh, she went right into his arms and said
“daddy I’m so proud of you!” Then
he let her wear his cap and we all ate.
Perfect. Day.
It is a new beginning and I’m excited to see what’s in store
for our family now!
Where's Leah? Oh, in the dirt.
